Thursday 16 April 2026 - Expat. Roasters, one of Indonesia’s leading specialty coffee brands, is pleased to announce the grand opening of its new Uluwatu location. Sitting in the heart of Uluwatu’s vibrant surf, fitness and hospitality scene, the new store blends Expat. Roasters’ signature craft coffee program with a warm, community-driven cafe experience tailored to locals, surfers and travellers alike.
A welcoming, open-plan brew bar spanning across two levels, the Uluwatu site is designed to bring guests close to the coffee-making process. Baristas will serve single-origin pour-overs, espresso-based drinks and a curated selection of the brand’s signature blends, including Patria and Nomad - alongside cold-brew cans and grab-and-go options. The menu also features protein drinks, freshly baked bites and light meals, making the space ideal for morning pickups, long afternoons and sundown catch-ups.

The Uluwatu location reflects a considered design approach that nods to Bali’s coastal character while maintaining modern cafe aesthetics. Natural materials, open sightlines to the barista bench, and casual seating encourage mingling and lingering. Local collaborations and sustainable practices are central to the fit-out, from responsibly sourced timber to biodegradable takeaway packaging.
Expat. Roasters Uluwatu will host regular community-focused events, including barista demos, cupping sessions, and collaborative pop-ups with local producers. The store aims to be an active neighbourhood hub, supporting Bali’s coffee culture and island makers.
Expat. Roasters Uluwatu is located at Jl. Pantai Cemongkak No.9F, Uluwatu, and open daily from 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM daily.
The store offers dine-in seating, takeaway and a selection of freshly roasted beans and coffee goods to take home.
